First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment will be done the same day as the consultation when scheduled accordingly.  However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your first visit:

  • Your referral slip and any X-rays if provided.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking and drug allergies.
  • If you have dental insurance, bring your policy information. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims in a timely fashion.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the initial visit.

Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment. If you have been told to take antibiotics prior to dental treatment or are currently taking blood thinner medication, please advise our staff when scheduling your appointment.

X-Rays

If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays in the area to be treated, you may request that they forward them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our office.
